Family Resolution Institute is holding its next Divorce Mediation Training starting Wednesday, February 3, 2021. This will be a virtual training, taking place on Zoom over 8 half days throughout the month of February. February 3-5, 10-11 & 18-20 from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm each day (all times are PST).

This is a fun, interactive, immersive, multi-media training rooted in a practical application through role-playing and other small group exercises. You will learn, and be able to immediately apply a unique mediation structure and the tools and techniques that go with it. Learn to mediate by doing!
Shawn Skillin and Shawn Weber, both have successful practices, exclusively practicing Mediation and Collaborative Divorce. Both are members of Collaborative Practice San Diego and CP Cal. Between the two of them, they have decades of mediation and collaborative divorce experience! Learn from trainers who walk the walk every day!
FRI provides the participants with a full-color handbook that includes court forms, sample fee agreements, checklists, mediator specific ethical standards, and significant resources of relevant books and organizations that you can use right away. You will make a connection with the other trainees and gain a new community for support and networking.
Who is this for?
This training is for anyone who works in the divorce area such as attorneys, judges, mental health professionals, financial advisors, realtors, mortgage brokers, life coaches, etc. If you are interested in becoming a Collaborative Divorce Professional, this training meets the mediation requirement!
The training is approved for 30 hours of California MCLE credit, including 1 hour of Ethics and 1 hour of Elimination of Bias.
This course meets the qualification for 30 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. (Family Resolution Institute, LLC, Approval No. 130208)
